Skip2PBX SIZZLED in DALLAS! Skip2PBX, Italy’s innovative software solution for integrating Skype with analog and digital PBX systems made a rather auspicious appearance at ABP Tech’s IP SIZZLES Resellers Conference in Dallas late last month. ABP had encouraged Skip2PBX to participate at the conference and its presence in the Exhibition Hall seemed to spur interest from many representatives who appeared intrigued by this particular product’s Linux attributes which could clearly outperform any current prospects in this particular market.
Word of mouth enthusiasm and an increase in requests for information and demos from companies in South America (Brazil and Mexico) seem to indicate that ABP (with substantial reseller and customer activity in South and Central America) and Skip2PBX seem to have already profited from this decision to collaborate. ABP works extensively promoting and selling Digium Cards, and the most recent updates of Skip2PBX have demonstrated remarkable improvements in audio quality and response, an issue of concern for many businessmen regarding the implementation of Skype in the past and now, with the impending arrival of SIP into Skip2PBX as well, the company aims to expand its reach to encompass the entire range of VoIP with Skype possibilities which the smart use of a product like Skip2PBX, with its compatibility to the Linux-friendly Digium and Asterisk empire, can provide. ABP Technology hooked up with Skip2PBX just prior to their "IP SIZZLES 2007" (July 23-25) near Texas headquarters in Dallas. The show hosted presentations and workshops regarding the latest in IP Telephony, Wireless VoIP and other IP Communications. Telecom resellers and Data Networking experts had the chance to learn firsthand and exchange ideas about "future" developments, and special guests included TMCnet’s Rich Tehrani and Digium’s Mark Spencer. Skip2PBX has already been active in Italy for a couple of years now, but now begins hitting the global marketplace, not only on the eve of its SIP version, but with the added push of a supportive and enthusiastic ABP International crew, with intentions to begin fully capitalizing on the impressive performance and ease of implementation which Skip2PBX has demonstrated as a Skype Gateway. Overall concept and structure, Linux’s stability being a predominant attraction, as is its cross-platform applicability and versatility of configurations (analog, ISDN, PCs or standard phone kits) Skip2PBX permits endusers and corporations to use Skype productively within their existing company frameworks. Multivendor operations can only benefit from including Skip2PBX on their roster. The exclusive "Automatic Free-Line Detection" feature alone places Skip2PBX in a class by itself, by not only tending to call-forwarding as determined and directed by the user, but also seeking and ringing the next available line, it continues to draw most prospective clients’ fascinations. Skip2PBX is now rapidly gaining favour as the Skype gateway of choice among serious business professionals. ABP Technology website: www.abptech.com Skip2PBX Tel. 0039-075-5011664
