Several functions have been added to version 2.1.1.20080218000000 to improve product performance and scalability.

Here is a list of the new main functions:
  • Auto-hook after inactivity
  • Free line detection per group
  • DTMF RFC2833 support

Auto-hook after inactivity:
We decided to add this function to auto disconnect a channel after a long time inactivity. This function protects your system from blocking a channel when someone forgets it open.

Free line detection per group:
As you probably know Skip2PBX supports a function to autoforward an incoming call to the first free Skype account. Some of our customers asked for a per-group division of this forwarding system. In other words they would have one or more groups of Skype accounts without overlap between them.

On this version you can create one or more groups setting the "Forward Incoming Calls" in the "Skype Account Definition". One or more accounts with the same value are considered as a group.

DTMF RFC2833 support
One of our compatibility issues with SIP PBX has been finally ironed out. We added the RFC2833 support for DTMFs on SIP. Since now we were only supporting the INFO mode.
